Description
Ensure power is disconnected prior to replacing the motor assembly.
Open enclosure door by disengaging stainless steel latches (enclosure screws in older models).
Disconnect electrical harness.
Disconnect intake and discharge couplings from enclosure.
Remove old motor assembly from enclosure and replace with new assembly.
Connect Speed controller to harness and apply adhesive side to lower left-hand of enclosure.
Coat both the intake and discharge coupling’s male threads with new Teflon tape (not included) and screw them into the female threaded motor assembly’s ends until the connection is tight.
Install a bead of clear, waterproof silicone (not included) where the discharge coupling meets the outer enclosure to ensure a water-tight seal.
Connect the interior electrical harness and power the blower.
Check operation, vacuum pressure and flow to ensure they meet system requirements.
Adjust speed control as necessary.
